HEATHER LOCKLEAR HOSPITALIZED OVERNIGHT, 'IS IN NO DANGER'
Heather Locklear was hospitalized on Thursday afternoon after her sister reportedly called 911 for assistance - but a hospital spokeswoman said Friday the "Melrose Place" actress is "out of harm's way ... she is in no danger."
Paramedics called to Locklear's Westlake Village home determined she needed hospitalization, TMZ reported, adding later that the actress had been awake and responsive when she arrived via ambulance at 2:30 p.m.
She was taken to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, where she was listed as "medically stable" on Friday, according to People magazine. "She is in no danger and she's going to be just fine," parents Bill and Diane Locklear said in a statement. "Heather's family wants her fans to know that she is doing well," a hospital spokeswoman said.
TMZ on Thursday cited law enforcement sources as saying alcohol and prescription drugs were involved, but that report was unconfirmed. Locklear has had issues with alcohol and prescription medications in the past, including a 2008 arrest on suspicion of DUI that was pleaded down to reckless driving.
Locklear and beau Jack Wagner called off their engagement in November, saying they wanted more time to spend with their individual families.

SINGER BRYAN FERRY, 66, MARRIES AMANDA SHEPPARD, 29
Pop singer Bryan Ferry, 66, and former publicist Amanda Sheppard, 29, were married earlier this month in an island ceremony at the Amanyara resort on the Turks and Caicos.
The "Slave to Love" singer and Roxy Music frontman tied the knot with Sheppard on Jan. 4. The bride wore Lanvin, and the groom wore Anderson & Sheppard, according to the wedding announcement on Ferry's website, which has a lovely shot of the couple on their wedding day.
We circle back because of this delicious, gossipy twist: Sheppard, who is 37 years Ferry's junior, was briefly involved with the singer's son Isaac Ferry, now 26, before hooking up with Dad. Bryan and Amanda have been dating since 2008, the Daily Telegraph said at the time, and have lived together since she quit her job and moved in with him in 2009, according to the Daily Mail.
"The interesting thing is - and I don't want to say the wrong thing in case I get into trouble with my girlfriend - you never really meet people your own age who aren't married," the elder Ferry told the Mail on Sunday.
Hey, at least he stuck with the available ladies. Appropriate, we say, given that Queen Elizabeth II in November awarded the singer with a CBE, or the rank of commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. Not quite a knight, but it comes with honor and a cool medal.
"I was very pleased to be recognised for a long career and doing something I love," Ferry said, according to his website.
It's a second trip down the aisle for Bryan Ferry, whose 21-year marriage to Lucy Henmore ended in 2003. They have four sons together. We also note, simply because it's cool, that Ferry had dated Jerry Hall for a couple of years before she left him for Mick Jagger.
Rock 'n' roll, people. Rock 'n' roll.

MICHELLE WILLIAMS, BRADLEY COOPER HIT WEINSTEIN CO. GLOBES BASH
It may have been merely hump day everywhere else in the world, but in Los Angeles, Wednesday held an exciting start to the coming Golden Globes madness.
The Weinstein Co. took over the exclusive walls of the Chateau Marmont lobby and adjoining patio to toast its nominees and well-wishers, chief among them Michelle Williams - Globe-nominated for her turn as Marilyn Monroe in "My Week With Marilyn."
With her perma plus-one Busy Phillips at her side, Williams shook hands and took compliments, lighting up significantly upon seeing pal Bradley Cooper swing by.
Ridiculously gorgeous Paula Patton changed the molecules in the room with a form-fitting leather mini-dress, greeting a scruffy Jamie Foxx and Harvey Weinstein himself. "The Artist" lead Jean Dujardin roamed, sipping Grey Goose and mingling with the film's composer and costume designer.
The Ministry was excited to see the man behind one of the year's most talked-about performances: Andy Serkis, who portrays Caesar in "Rise of The Planet of The Apes." We mentioned James Franco's recent missive about Serkis (Jan. 8 on www.deadline.com), saying his performance was deserving of Oscar gold.
"That's was totally unexpected and very sweet of him," Serkis told us.
Also sweet: Jane Lynch and wife Lara Embry sticking close together while actors Dane Cook and Jeremy Piven chatted up executive types. Geena Davis and Andie MacDowell looked luminous, conjuring the inevitable "How does she do it?" chatter from VIP wives and publicists.
